DESCRIPTION:Being an account in words and music of eighteenth century Lincolnshire, its communities, the changing fens and the Sunday ritual.\nGreenwood Quire is a West Gallery Quire making glorious music in South Lincolnshire\nOur repertoire of music comes from that provided by local singers and amateur musicians in churches and chapels across the country before there were organs and harmoniums. During the 18th and 19th Century music of this kind was recorded by a wide variety of composers and musicians in books and manuscripts.\nThe Quire has a membership of over 40 singers and band musicians under the guidance of a musical director.
